Gary Lattie is a construction management professional experienced in the entire land development process including feasibility, due diligence, entitlements, acquisition, land planning, design development, construction, marketing/sales. He has specialized in developing large residential Planned Unit Developments (PUDs), commercial, residential & resort projects and related amenities. He is also experienced in both horizontal and vertical construction for commercial and residential applications and is adept in handling multiple projects. Overall, Mr. Lattie has over thirty years experience in construction and land development throughout the United States and Caribbean.

After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management Gary started his career in Louisiana as a partner with an established construction company building residential homes, and quickly expanded into residential land development.

Gary moved to North Carolina and combined his land development experience with golf and started managing the construction of golf related planned unit developments and resort properties throughout the United States and the Caribbean. For the next twenty (20) years, he worked for two of the largest, nationally prominent golf development companies, ClubCorp and Landscapes Unlimited. He worked on many high-end projects with notable architects, such as Nicklaus, Palmer, Player and Fazio and became very proficient in coordinating the planning/construction of golf courses and community amenities, with residential development parcels to create the optimum land plan. Some of his notable projects include Firestone Country Club (Akron, OH), Barton Creek Resort (Austin TX), Pinewild Country Club (Pinehurst, NC) and Aspen Glen Club (Aspen, CO). Mr. Lattie’s latest accomplishment was completion of the design/build expansion at Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters Golf Tournament, which opened in 2011.

In addition to his residential and amenities experience, Mr. Lattie manages the due diligence, design and development of commercial projects for local developers. He has successfully completed new shopping center projects, build-to suits and renovations. Notable national tenant projects include Family Dollar, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Advance Auto and Harris Teeter. He also is the property manager for existing commercial centers, as well as residential Property Owner’s Association (POA). Additionally, he is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker.

Whether it’s a residential or commercial project, Mr. Lattie is proficient in selecting and managing the project development team of consultant professionals including engineers, land planners, architects, contractors and brokers to achieve the project goals. He has a strong ability to prioritize, communicate and motivate the team in order to meet the schedule, cost and quality objectives for any type of project.
